Jonny Pinhorn drew Shrikhand at Indian Type Foundry, taking the visual register of South Asian sweet-shop signage and turning it into a Latin display family. The strokes thicken at the joints, the bowls swell, the whole face reads like sugar set in type. Shrikhand is one weight and one statement: this is loud, this is happy, this is meant to be tasted. Use it once per page, never more.
