Note
Eczar started in Devanagari. Vaibhav Singh, then at Indian Type Foundry, drew it for academic publishing where Sanskrit text demanded gravitas without austerity. The Latin companion arrived after, and it carries the source's accent: terminal flares that lean toward calligraphy, a high-contrast feel even at low weights. Use Eczar for headlines that want to be read as statements, not labels. It belongs in places where the words matter more than the layout.
